Michael Löwy, a founder of the Ecosocialist International Network, is emeritus Research Director at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and lectures at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences in Paris. Professor Löwy was born in Brazil in 1938 and has lived in Paris since 1969.
