Around the world, consciousness of the threat to our environment is growing. The majority of solutions on offer, from using efficient light bulbs to biking to work, focus on individual lifestyle changes, yet the scale of the crisis requires far deeper adjustments.
Join acclaimed authors, John Bellamy Foster and Chris Williams for a discussion of the enviromental crisis—its causes, but most importantly, possible solutions.
John Bellamy Foster is editor of Monthly Review. He is professor of sociology at the University of Oregon and author of The Ecological Rift (with Brett Clark and Richard York), The Ecological Revolution, The Great Financial Crisis (with Fred Magdoff), and many other books published by Monthly Review Press.
Chris Williams is a longtime environmental activist, professor of physics and chemistry at Pace University, and chair of the science department at Packer Collegiate Institute. He is the author of Ecology and Socialism, published this year by Haymarket Press

It was recorded. We hope to put it up on http://www.wearemany.org very soon. Very happy to have it linked through Climate and Capitalism also.
Chris
any word on whether this will be recorded and put up on the web for those of us NOT in NYC?
Great idea. If it is recorded, Climate and Capitalism will publish it!
