“They can’t stop us demonstrating, they can’t stop us fighting back, and how ever much they try to imprison us in the streets of London, those are our streets. We will always be there to demonstrate, we will always be there to fight.”

  • @Rich – Why must students pay for the mistakes of the wealthy? Why are we punishing future generations for our mistakes? Perhaps education should be encouraged and massive accumulation of ridiculous amounts of capital should be discouraged. Perhaps the wealthiest 1% should be penalized, those whom are mostly responsible for getting us in this mess in the first place. And perhaps the media should quit pandering to those wealthy elites by dismissing any dissenting voices as anarchist idiots. In actuality many who oppose are highly educated and should be applauded for taking an active role in standing up for their communities, countries and the globe as a whole instead of be resigned to the couch and TV, to sit and watch how it plays out from the safety of their lazyboy. Look at SPP rallies, G20 summits, the gov has repeatedly, intentionally, discredited peaceful protesters acting fully within their rights of free speech by instigating violence and blaming those who voice opposition to the powers that be. Free speech does not mean free to say what we want you to say!

  • Perhaps, had he not skipped lessons, the poor boy might have learned that the country is so bankrupt that these measures are being taken from necessity, not choice. The police were there because anarchists were defacing the monuments of those who died to give him the freedom to stand an sneer at the police for having a poorer education than him.

Articulacy does not compensate for lack of coherence, I’m afraid.
