I never really understood The Greens. It seems to me they’re trying to make Capitalism ‘ecological’. I have never get any vision from any Green I met, that is apart from being vegetarian, cycling as much as possible etc etc. I don’t mean to denegrate this – I do alot of these things but they’re hardly going to change much are they? Now the Left Unity which I have seen in passing makes a lot more sense especially after your article. I would be well up for cancelling my Labour Party membership forLeft Unity. I sincerely hope the party doesn’t start fragmenting from the off. It’s my biggest fear. I’ve been through that more than I’d like. I wish the Left could understand the need to stay united. It’s why we’ve been so irrelevant.

Lots of very good points here. One thing that has always worried me about the Green Party is the middle class nature of the movement – or at least the fact that is is PERCEIVED as a middle-class hobby, however untrue this perception. See on 30 November and we’ll take it from there.
