Every week or so, I publish a round-up of recent articles, reports, and talks that are relevant to Climate & Capitalism‘s ecosocialist mission. For quite a while, this feature was called “Weekend Reading” — but I don’t always want to wait for the weekend, and sometimes when the weekend arrives I don’t have anything to recommend.
So I changed the title to “Ecosocialist reading list” — but some people thought that meant these are readings about ecosocialism, which some are, but many aren’t. Someday I will compile an actual reading list on ecosocialism, and I don’t want people to be confused.
So now I’ve changed the heading on all of them, to a title I used long ago for a different column … Ecosocialist resources. I think/hope that’s clearer.
And here are this week’s selections …
Seed Giants vs. U.S. farmers (pdf)
Center for Food Safety and Save Our Seeds
Striking it Richer: The evolution of top incomes in the United States (pdf)
Emmanuel Saez
Backgrounder: Climate impacts from the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline (pdf)
Natural Resources Defense Council
Day of the people: Gracchus Babeuf and the communist idea
Doug Enaa Greene

And if you read (or write) an article that might be appropriate for a future list, please post your suggestion in the Climate and Capitalism Facebook group.
