  • Too bad Pam Palmater lost out in the voting for National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations last July. She did, however, get 28 percent of the vote, which is remarkable considering the conservative nature of the organization.

    The indigenous movement in Canada sorely needs leaders like Palmater.
