Essential ecosocialist reading in Korean

Print Friendly

One of the most popular books on our Introducing Ecosocialism list is What Every Environmentalist Needs to Know About Capitalism (Monthly Review Press, 2011), by Fred Magdoff and John Bellamy Foster.

Hwang Jeung Gyu, a member of the Climate and Capitalism Facebook group, has just informed us that it has been published in Korean and is in stores now.

Jeung Gyu writes: “In Korea where green-red fusion is weak, I think this book could do something to make green redder, red greener.”

I agree — congratulations to our friends at Monthly Review Press, and to everyone who has made possible this important step forward for ecosocialism in Korea.
