Fewer than 1% of adults own 70% of all wealth

Over two-thirds of global adults now hold less than $10,000 worth of wealth. Less than 1 percent hold over $1 million.

But those 29 million millionaires hold 12 times more wealth than the 3.2 billion adults with no more than $10,000 each to their name.

The world’s 29 million millionaires also have almost triple the wealth of the 1.04 billion adults worth between $10,000 and $100,000.
